Home Watch Services

We are delighted to provide our clients with personalized Home Watch services, giving you peace of mind whenever you're away from your Florida home. Please note that DTV currently doesn't offer Home Watch services as a standalone option. These services are available only to established clients who we already support with low-voltage services.

BASIC HOME WATCH SERVICES INCLUDE:

  • Ensure all doors and windows are securely closed and locked to reduce the risk of break-ins.
  • Look for any signs of water leaks, damage, and visible mold or mildew.
  • Check for signs of insects or rodents throughout the property.
  • Confirm that the A/C is cooling properly and adjust the thermostat (and, if applicable, humidistat) settings as needed.
  • Test faucets, garbage disposals, and toilets to ensure they’re working correctly.
  • Make sure the main water valve is turned off after the inspection.
  • Inspect the electrical panel for any tripped breakers and verify that all hot water heater breakers are off.
  • Visually inspect all areas of the property, including the Lanai and Garage.
  • Conduct a thorough visual inspection of the exterior of single-family homes to evaluate the condition of pools, screen enclosures, and check for signs of vandalism.
  • Actively fill out a report during the home check.
  • Report any concerns immediately to the client.

Phone Systems

Although phone systems aren't as common these days, Designed Theatre Visions is still here to help when you need them. We work with various VoIP providers to bring you cloud-based PBX systems, or we can set up an on-site hardware solution if that’s what works best for you.
